  1. Many years ago I adopted this attitude with Christmas, it was getting too expensive, and eating too much. To my family’s disgust I just cooked a good meal more special than a Sunday lunch. Did not buy anyone presents they all had enough and did not need anything else. I felt much better as I watched people struggle with purchasing and seeing their credit card reach new heights. It is not what the celebration is about it has a much deeper meaning the over-eating.
