Flaws and All

I’ve been pondering the idea of posting a Blog everyday the month of December. I know Bloggers who post everyday and they have it all planned.

I don’t plan my posts. They form from a piece of inspiration I spotted within my day and grow from there. I ponder that little nugget until it has words swirling around it and then find a quiet moment to let them fall to the page.

December is a busy month. A lot of writers take the month off completely. There’s something I’ve learned from taking a break from something I love. When I leave, it ends.

There’s a struggle in the re-starting.

There’s no growth in the not doing.

I asked a friend what she thought about me Blogging everyday this month and she reminded me how busy people are in December. That’s a valid point, but I don’t write for the the masses. This Blog has evolved into a haven of sorts. Readers know it’s going to be peaceful and calm.

Writing isn’t a task for me, or on my to-do list for the day.  It’s a gift and an honor to be used by God in this way. Flaws and all.

  1. I love the idea of you writing everyday in December. I am in agreement with you that writing is a unique unplanned gift. Treasure it! Movement solidifies our next. “When I less enjoy it ends.” Love it. Love you. Thank you for what you give to blogging. #Required

  2. I love the way you write. I do not plan I just get a thought and it naturally expands. When you are conneceted to God the words just flow. No need to plan afterall God knows what he wants to say. I love to read inspiration from the soul and God it is so full of energy instead of being packed with “quotes” from scriptures. The words are special go straight to person who requires to read it, perhap only one or a few but time and time again someone will look up the post to read it. I will enjoy your daily inspiration looking forward to it.

    1. Thank you my darling. We write from the heart and when we feel that connection the words begin to pour. There is that hope that they go straight to the thirsty heart who needs quenching. The words are filled with an energy that is required to be read. Thank you for your love and encouragement. xx

  3. I love how and why you blog. “…They form from a piece of inspiration I spotted within my day and grow from there. I ponder that little nugget until it has words swirling around it and then find a quiet moment to let them fall to the page.” Brilliant!

  4. 🙂 For the record, it is not mandatory for you to update your blog posts daily.

As you have rightly pointed out, December is a busy month.

In my case, I have chosen to publish blog posts daily for the month of December because I am participating in “Blogmas”.

    1. Ahhh Renard. I don’t keep a record, but understand where you’re coming from and thank you.

It’s great that you’ve chosen to participate in a Blogathon. You used to post everyday and went to once a week, which I enjoy reading your posts weekly or daily. You’re highly capable of both.

I’ve participated in them before, but there seems to be an underlying pressure to them for me personally. Maybe it’s pressure I put on myself to participate instead of just writing. Have fun with it my friend.
