Last August, I went to the beach.
It was a business trip offered by one of the companies I work for. The company chartered a boat with a Captain to take us fishing. It was the inspiration I needed for this year.

Captain Wes explained how it works.
He cast the lines and we had to watch the tip of the rod. If we saw it bend, we were to grab the rod and pull hard. That embedded the hook and then we had to reel it in fast. Captain Wes would see the rod bend and yell at us to, “Get it, get it, get it, get it, get it!”
I still hear him yelling at me.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Captain Wes reminded me that fishing is similar to reeling in anything we want to achieve.
Yesterday, I saw this mug and bought it for afternoon tea. You know I don’t need one more mug, and it wasn’t even about the mug, but what it said on it. I need to see this everyday.
You know that dream you hold in your heart?
It’s time to get after it.
Fantastic, and blue which is for communication.

Do or not do; there is no try. – Yoda
I missed my opportunity again this year to do the polar bear swim in the lake. It was a reminder to me that best intentions are not enough. I need to actually do the deed.

I don’t believe in missed opportunity.
If it’s meant for me it’ll come back around.
You are seriously thinking about doing this swim, now you can prepare. Research it. Talk with people who have done it. Find out if it’s something you really want to achieve. You will know when the time is right for you to dive in. (and yes, I enjoyed that pun)
Thank you for sharing.

I like that mug. Yes, there are certain mugs that just say I have to have that. Especially with some positive words.
